Loveable old Uncle Woy Hodgson threw a bit of a ‘rage quit shit fit’ after Papiss Cisse clonked home Newcastle’s third goal against West Brom at the Hawthorns yesterday afternoon, tearing off his black armband and throwing on the ground.

Which is all well and good, in that it showed the veteran Baggies’ manager still has the fight, etc, etc – the only problem being that the players were sporting the armbands as a mark of respect given the recent death of West Brom club legend Ray Barlow, the man for whom the pre-match minute’s applause was conducted.

You see the issue here.

Hodgson has since issued a formal apology to Barlow’s family – admitting that he wasn’t thinking about the significance of his actions as he flew into a tizzy:

“It is something I did without thinking out of pure frustration at conceding the third goal.

“I meant no disrespect by it to such a great player, nor his family, and offer my sincere apologies if it has caused offence.”

There we go, Roy Hodgson is not some awful depraved grave-pisser and all is well with the world again.

Nice guy Woy makes an apology and all is well.
If for example Suarez did the same, he would be hounded in the media for weeks on end.

Hypocrisy much? (English media in general, not this article or Pies)

If Woy was as much of a cunt as Suarez, then he would be hounded by the media. But he isn’t, so he won’t be, sorted.
