For some reason beknownst only unto himself, ex-Smiths frontman and ‘friend of celery’ Morrissey seems to have personally requested to meet Joey Barton at Glastonbury this year.
Barton tweeted that he had ‘just received the best phone call of his life’ and when quizzed whether the call had come from Real Madrid/the VD clinic etc, the Toon midfielder replied:
O….kay. Perhaps ‘Sweet and Tender Hooligan’ was written with a certain 100%, Grade ‘A’ hipster douchebag and ex-con in mind?
