To mark the anniversary of the founding of his company, Berjaya, Vincent Tan was honoured with a collosal, 20-metre-long dragon-shaped birthday cake in Malaysia yesterday.

According to Wales Online, the huge dragon cake was the centrepiece of the Berjaya Founder’s Day celebrations held on February 22 in Berjaya Times Square – the gleaming 48-storey, 203m twin-tower hotel, condominium, indoor amusement park and shopping centre complex that Tan owns in Kuala Lumpur.

  1. Joe says:

Speaking of the man, I just wondered how common a boy’s name ‘Vincent’ is in Malaysia. Or why he he’s gone formal, rather than go for Vinnie, or just Vin. Is Vincent a lucky name? Was he adopted as a child by a fan of one-eared impressionists, who changed his name against the wishes of his biological parents? If so, a few dots are starting to join together.
