Proving once again that non-league football is where the real heroes reside, a travelling contingent of just two – count ’em, two – North Ferriby supporters braved the sub-zero temperatures to watch their side on Tuesday night.
The stout and hearty duo embarked on a 260-mile round trip from the east coast of Northern England to the west to watch the National League’s bottom club take on Chester in a near-deserted stadium…
Unfortunately, it didn’t prove to be a good night for North Ferriby, who eventually went on to lose 3-0 as Chester extended their unbeaten run to five games…
