Like many football clubs of their ilk, Dagenham & Redbridge are navigating through choppy financial waters at the moment.
The National League team are in urgent need of funds to ensure their survival, so it’s nice that their nearest Premier League neighbours, West Ham, have offered assistance in their time of need.
With a two-week gap in their schedule coming up (due to FA Cup-based fixture rearrangements), the Hammers have agreed to send a strong side down to Victoria Road for a fundraising friendly match on Wednesday 21st March.
Plus, just to add another little frisson of excitement, you – yes, you – are being offered the chance to take charge of the Daggers for the night…

Not only will the lucky fan get to live out their non-league management fantasies for an evening, they’ll also be bequeathed with personalised manager gear, lead the two teams out and get the opportunity to entertain David Moyes after the match – perhaps with a lively dance?
Tickets for the ‘Save The Daggers’ friendly are between £10-15 for adults, with all proceeds going directly into the club coffers (more info here).
