Ouch, that is a truly disgraceful shiner. Sorry, can’t type much more – tears of pride filling my eyes.
This photo was taken at the ’82 World Cup finals in sunny Espana, during England’s opening group game against France – you remember, the one in which Bryan Robson scored after a matter of seconds (27 seconds, to be exact).
