Rangers’ failure to pick up three points at Tannadice last night makes a very, very small dent in their title challenge, but an 11-point lead over Celtic is a fairly comfy cushion. The Gers now need just five points from their remaining five matches to be crowned SPL champs.

Rangers’ remaining fixtures:

Hearts (h), Hibernian (a), Dundee United (a), Celtic (a), Motherwell (h)

That’s quite a tough run-in for Walter Smith’s side, but I can’t see any outcome other than Rangers winning the title.
