In town for the premiere of his new movie, ‘The Mummy’, teeny tiny Tom Cruise stopped by Atletico Madrid’s new humble abode to check on the progress.

Cruise and fellow cast members Annabelle Wallis and Sofie Boutella were given a VIP tour of Atleti’s half-built Wanda Metropolitano stadium by Saul Niguez and club president Enrique Cerezo.

“It will be a really magnificent stadium and I can’t wait to watch them come back and play here now,” Cruise waffled to the assembled press.

“I was invited and I can’t wait to see it with all the screens and all the fans here because there’s nothing like really watching a football match here in Spain.”

Somebody’s obviously never spent a rain-sodden Tuesday evening at Kidderminster Harriers.

  1. Carlos says:

I can’t see this stadium totally ready in 2-3 months. And it also looks very average, very common. These new arenas look all the same.
