The Saturdays perform before the United Relief Live match at Old Trafford

Girl group The Saturdays provided the eye candy – if not the ear candy – at United Relief on Saturday. Clad in little black dresses, they warmed up the 34,000-strong crowd before past players (including Ian Rush, Denis Law, Dwight Yorke, Jaap Stam and Sir Bobby Charlton) and celebrities took part in a charity football match at the stadium. Ian Rush’s Rivals XI won the match on penalties.
