Those perfectly decent English players who, for whatever reason, won’t be going to South Africa, can at least take comfort in the fact they have been selected for this ‘Not Going To The World Cup’ XI (that’s tongue in cheek, for any Liverpool fans who might reading this)…
Not a bad team, that – nice mix of youth and experience, and bags of pace.

I’d suggest that most of the bell ends claiming to be Liverpool supporters on here the other day were in fact Stevie G fanboys who’ve never been to Anfield. Pay them no mind.
The attacking options are pretty much a mixture of Villa and United players with the exception of Zamora
Ping Yang; Only III of each = total VI
VI + Zamora = VII and confirms you can’t count.
It was called the XI, you are missing IIV of them.
Such a shame Gibbs isn’t fit.
Would your tongue in cheek comment of been better served if there were some Liverpool players in your so called squad, instead it’s jut full ot Utd and Villa players who obviously aren’t good enough.

Those villa players were good enough to finish above Liverpool this year. And Zamora’s been good enough to make a european final.
Its a squad based on opinion…and secondly a squad that doesn’t exist.
Chill the fuck out.
Oh and if Liverpool had been better this season maybe a few more of them would have made it to that list.

Anyone else think they’d have much more faith in this team than the current starting XI? Excluding Stewart Downing, that is.
young should be in the england team because he has played brilliant
this in the prem and so has zamora he has been on fire for fulham helping them get to the final of the europe league so its such a shame they didnt get in also paul robinson has been brilliant as well and green has been a shambles at the hammers this season
