A predictable result perhaps, but Ross County made a decent game of it, especially in a tight first half of few chances. But after David Goodwillie opened the scoring with a superb lob midway through the second half, there was only one team in it. Craig Conway’s two late goals gave the scoreboard a lop-sided look in United’s favour.

Congrats to the Terrors, who lift the Scottish Cup for only the second time in their history (the first being in 1994, after a series of painful defeats in the final).
