To sum up: England lost on penalties, of course. An American (Woody Harrelson, who took up football aged 40) scored the winning spot-kick. Zinedine Zidane was a joy to watch, even though he wasn’t even trying. Mike Myers is very small. Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham took it way too seriously. Robbie Williams hugged Gary Barlow. Jamie Theakston and Patrick Kielty made some great saves. Lots of money was raised for Unicef (donate). The end.
