World Cup Photos: Argentina 3-1 Mexico – Tevez Stars, Still No Messi Goal

Argentina were gifted a goal when Carlos Tevez was somehow not flagged for offside, but as with England v Germany, it wasn’t a decision that would have changed the outcome of the game; Argentina are a very good side and always looked to have the beating of a decent but limited Mexico.

Now… Argentina v Germany, in what is the most lipsmacking tie of the World Cup so far. Should be a cracker. I call Argentina to win that – as good as Germany are, they have yet to face a really potent team, and that’s exactly how you’d describe Maradona’s buoyant men.

I agree with bigdutch. Just wait and watch, Germany will easily beat Argentina in this game! They are simply more cohesive as a team with better defense and overall younger players as compared to Argentina.

Germany has been the best team in the world cup so far uptil now! They’ve got this one in the bag.
