lol , please dont judge pes 2010 by looking at pes 2009, only dumb will thinks like that. It obvios tht they will improve the game year by year so how can you judge by looking at the last edition.

I my self bought a pes 2010 on a launch and was amazed by the game play , konami has done it again :D , this year pes will start to get fans and give it a year or 2 , fifa will will be no wheree!!!! and fifa is anyways for kids who want to just score and feel happy about , where as in pes 2010 the beauty is to create a goal . i would rate it 9/10 and fifa i dunno maybe 7/10.

Agreed, the Master League is the only float for the sinking ship of PES. Even if they did make it THE best football game in the world and everybody and their granny went and bought it over FIFA 2010, I’d still feel a wee bit sad that PES wasn’t the underdog anymore…!

FIFA will never match what PES is not by a long shot. I do agree with everyone as time progresses the only difference when see in the game are graphical. Still there is hope my friends, I’m gonna stay optimistic and say that this will be the best soccer game Ill ever play.

the thing is, fifa still cant beat the master league. there’s nothing like creating your own team and fighting your way up the ranks.
I recently got hold of fifa 09 to try it out and had a shot of the manager mode, but i found it dull that you could just choose a top ranking, established team and start playing.
Also where’s the initiative to even build and develop the club if you can choose another team to manage at the end of a season?

PES of late has become like Arsenal. All the money in the world, but too cheap to spend enough to create a world class offering. They have overused the ‘underdogs’ angle and the longsuffering of their loyal supporters is wearing thin.

I think it’s about time they get a new Marketing Manager too. That trailer was pretty underwhelming and far from appealing. Using jargon like “defensive line”, “pressure level” and “incisive run” doesn’t make it look cooler.
