By Chris Wright

20 years ago to this very day (September 4th, 1994), a 17-year-old Francesco Totti scored the very first of his 235 Serie A goals for Roma by latching onto a knock-down from Daniel “The Beaver” Fonseca and walloping a shot into the bottom corner to open the scoring for theĀ Giallorossi in a 1-1 draw against Foggia at the Stadio Olimpico…

Here be that very goal…

The rest, as they say, isĀ storia.

    GOLACCIO!

On a sidenote, as a man of 35 I wish to complain about the fact that the main image is in black & white.

Anyone else have trouble breathing recently?

  2. Chris B. says:

LOL, Jarren is correct. Unlike everything that happened up to the early 1960′s, I am positive this happened in color.
