Just a quickie to keep you abreast of the latest to-doings in Milan.

Less than an hour after giving Pippo Inzaghi the elbow earlier this morning, the Rossoneri have appointed Sinisa Mihajlovic as their new manager.

Former Inter defender Mihajlovic has signed a two-year deal to take over at Milan after suddenly upping and leaving Sampdoria – it was all a bit emotional – a couple of weeks ago.

Milan finished 10th in Serie A last season under Inzaghi’s stewardship, registering a measly 13 wins over the course of the entire league season before washing up 35 whole points behind eventual winners Juventus.
