To look at him you’d think he was a beserk enforcer for an Eastern European prison gang, but it turns out that deep down Radja Nainggolan is softer than pudding.
Indeed, the Roma midfielder was given a special handmade Christmas bauble by a young fan after he scored the only goal of the game in Monday night’s 1-0 win over Milan.
Nainngolan promised little Matilda – for that was her name – that he’d hang the decoration on his tree as soon as he got home.
Lo and behold…
Oggi e entrata in campo 1 bambina e m ha fatto un bel pensierino e mi sn mantenuto la parola che l’avrei messo al albero.grazie matilde.💛❤️ pic.twitter.com/eccMxp2KXO

“Today a child entered into field and did a nice little thought and I kept my word that I would put the tree. Thanks Matilda. 💛❤️,” the Belgian international wrote on Twitter.
Adorable, though we’re not sure it’ll do Nainggolan’s hardman credentials any good.
