I’m going to start by telling you the following quotes from Jose Mourinho are taken from MARCA, the unofficial mouthpiece of Real Madrid, so you should let that colour your judgement as you see fit.

There really isn’t any reason for them to be false but, knowing MARCA‘s usual output, there really isn’t any reason for them to be true either!

Any road up, the Inter Milan coach has admitted that his only options this summer are to either stay put at the San Siro or put to bed the months of relentless speculation and join Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea man told the Spanish rag;

“My only options are Madrid or Inter, to get me to leave [Inter] after two years of incredible work, only Real Madrid could achieve that. If I go, I will move with a clear conscience having changed the club.

All I say is that if you are a coach or a great player to not play in a club like Madrid, leaves a hole in your career.

I want to coach Real 100 per cent. If it is next year or later, I can’t say.”

With David Villa completing his move to Barcelona and ‘Cesc Fabregas seemingly set to follow suit, could this be the summer when all of the most tiresome and oft-repeated pieces of football gossip finally materialise?

  1. Tom says:

    Great timing by Mourinho. Should help rally the Madrid crowd behind Mourinho for the CL final. Nobody can win against him, when it comes to PR and psychological warfare.

  2. Michael says:

    So let Bayern win and go to Madrid.

    didn’t this already happen last summer (Real Madrid)
