Sochaux’s Ryad Boudebouz Attempts Most Gently Struck Panenka Penalty Ever, Still Outfoxes Keeper (Video)
By Alan Duffy
I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to get a bit bored with all these ‘Panenka’ spot-kicks. Like tattoos and racism, it’s a trend football should knock on the head.
Anyway, the latest cheeky chappie to outwit a goalie from the penalty spot is Sochaux’s Ryad Boudebouz. However, his take on the ‘Panenka’ is interesting for the way he barely caresses the ball past the ‘keeper. Indeed, the ball even bounces before it eventually goes over the line, but the goalie is still made to look like an incompetent eejit.

Funny how the defender also barely caresses the attacker, you can’t get a “softer” penalty than that…
I’m also more than tired of this Panenka penalties, but it sure is a lot funnier when they miss it!
@Nunp: How can you be tried of the Panenka? It’s great! It’s like playground football. Fun needs to be broughtt back to the game. It’s getting tooo serious!:D
