Cristiano Ronaldo Scores Outrageous Backheel Volley To Salvage Point Against Valencia (Video & GIF)

Spain Soccer La Liga

With Real Madrid trailing 2-1 at home to Valencia and the game just about to tick over into the second minute of injury time, Cristiano Ronaldo pulled a spectacularly ludicrous back-heel volley to level the scores at 2-2 and just about preserve Real’s frail title hopes – if only in the mathematical sense…

Nicely done, and almost a carbon copy of a backheel goal Ronaldo scored against Malaga in 2011…

While currently lying third in the La Liga table, Real Madrid can still nab the title if they win all three of their remaining games and hope that table-toppers Atletico lose one of their remaining two fixtures.

You have to change the title. It was against Valencia (as you put later), not Osasuna.

    Cheers!

@Achterberg: Yes, Osasuna was just put in there as a place-holder but the post auto-published by mistake before we could change it.

      Amended now.

Out standing goal to make it 50 goals this season. If Real win the CL final and Portugal has a good showing in the WC, we could see him win his 3rd player of the year award.

Funny to think that £80 million for him was a total fleecing by Madrid.

Actually, if both Barça and RM win all their remaining games then RM will be champions. It all comes down to the Atlético vs Barça game on the last day!

    Outrageous goal from CR7 >_<
