Despite having a rather well-stocked trophy cabinet (including a World Cup winners’ medal, a Champions League title and a Ballon D’Or), injuries rather blighted what should have been Kaka’s peak years.
After a season back at Milan in 2013/14 followed by a short stay in Brazil with Sao Paulo, the former Real Madrid star is now plying his trade in MLS with Orlando City.
Th 33-year-old seems to be enjoying life in the States, netting an impressive nine goals in 18 MLS games this season. And in a friendly game against West Bromwich Albion at the Citrus Bowl on Wednesday, the schemer rolled back the years with a trademark powerful run and shot. Although the Baggies’ defending was feeble to say the least. Still, lovely stuff from the Brazilian.
The US side won the game 3-1, coming back from a Callum McManaman goal with Carlos Rivas and Bryan Rochez joining Kaka on the scoresheet.
