Rapid Vienna registered a narrow 2-1 away win over Viktoria Plzen to seal their place in the last 32 of the Europa League last night, thanks to a 77th-minute winner from midfielder Philipp Schobesberger.
Having been played in one-on-one on the Plzen goal, Schobesberger refused to let the enormity of the situation get to him as he sat the Plzen ‘keeper down with an outrageous piece of skill and rolled home the winner with consummate ease.
Sort of, anyway…
Schobesberger falls over but still somehow scores the winner for Rapid Vienna. #UEL https://t.co/iYvUNuFRZB
