Wonder Goals: Jari Litmanen Matches Berbatov With Brilliant Overhead Kick
By Ollie Irish
Jari Litmanen, who used to play for Liverpool, is 39 and even now he’s better than David Ngog. As this brilliant overhead kick (Berbatov, eat your heart out) shows, Jari may be pushing 40, and so he’s now slower than Teddy Sheringham on crutches, but he’s still got the skills to pay the bills.
This goal proved to be the winner for Litmanen’s current club Lahti, at Oulu in the Finnish Prem.

I used to love this guy back when I was a kid, I remember drawing pictures of him in his Ajax kit in my French book and telling my friend he was gonna score the winning goal in the CL final against Juve, got that one wrong.
