This weekend saw a couple of blinding overhead kick scored across the continent, with Eren Derdiyok and Julio Baptista both netting with rather sublime acrobatic efforts – question is, which one was better?

Exhibit B: Julio Baptista, MALAGA vs Getafe

Bear in mind this was an injury-time winner…

So, who did it best Pies fans? Who ya got?

For the record, we’re marking out for Derdiyok’s effort on this occasion – if only because he can probably technically claim the assist as well!

    B. look how hard he hits it! perfect technique and it wins the match! onle thing better about the first one though is he does it all himself. it’s a tough one to pick

    I think A. Perfect 3 ball contacts, and excellent individual effort. Exhibit B is also amazing, but Derdyok did all by himself.

    Both excellent goals, one with incredible magnitude, the other with amazing ability, technique, and execution. I gotta go with Derdiyok for sheer outrageous skill. Pure class.

    Although Baptista’s finish was more powerful. Derdiyok did it with two defenders around him.

    Derdiyoks because he looks like he’s made a James Hunt of it but redeems himself. Two defenders get goalside thinking they’ve done their job then up pops a wee overhead kick over 3 players ! Class. Widnae get away with it in 5 asides though ! BLOOTER ! Ha
