Iffy Advert: Santos Stars Neymar, Ganso Looking Forward To Club World Cup In Japan
By Chris Wright
Posted without comment: Santos’ billboard, advertising the club’s upcoming Club World Cup jaunt – a tournament that is due, it should be pointed out, to take place in Japan in mid-December…
We used to get made to stand in the corner for doing things like that at primary school – just saying.

Didn’t a bunch of Spanish Olympians get in trouble for doing this before the Olympics in china?
Wow. Un-fucking-believable.
:O sure that isn’t allowed. i guess in brazil rascism is less of a problem, therefore some things aren’t seen as rascist. but i dunno…
humour FAIL?
its hardly racism
Looolz, can we expect the US NT posting a similar billboard but painting themselves black if they qualify fr WC 2014 in braziL?
Chinese, Japanese, dirty knees, what are these…
Whatever idiot came up with that should be fired, or set on fire.
@Scotspur: I think it was their basketball team.
See also Disney celebutard Miley Cyrus. And Father Ted.
I hate to harp on this, but it’s the Club World Cup. Saying World Club Cup makes you sound like an idiot, both because it’s really not that hard to get words in their proper order, and it also doesn’t roll off the tongue nearly was well.
Thanks Grant, duly amended. What can I say? I was up far past my bedtime!
Neymar has almond shaped eyes anyway
Sorry for being grumpy Chris, it’s just that from over here in the States I’ve noticed that phrasing is used consistently on Sky Sports News, in the tabloids they report on there, and in many match commentaries. I didn’t know whether it was a legit typo or part of the consistent attempts to delegitimize the tournament by refusing to call it the correct name. My apologies for the grumpiness, and my thanks for correcting it.
whos the guy with down syndrome on the right
