FA Cup: Watford 0-1 Tottenham – Van Der Vaart Rasper Sees Spurs Sneak Through (Photos & Highlights)

With Tax-dodge McGurk back on the bench after a week in Southwark crown court, a single against-the-run-of-play 25-yard pinger from Rafael van der Vaart saw Tottenham into the Fifth round proper at Vicarage Road last night, despite coming in for an absolute shelling from Watford during the second-half.

Said ‘Arry afterwards: ”They say it’s better to be lucky than good sometimes and we were lucky today for sure. If they played like that every game, they’d be top of the league,” which just about tells you all you need to know.
