Six weeks after collapsing and actually dying for 78 minutes, Fab Muamba was back on the pitch at the Reebok Stadium last night, entering to a standing ovation and thanking the fans for their support during his convalescence from a cardiac arrest.

Bolton went on to get pretty much trounced by Tottenham, who finished the evening back in the top four on goal difference thanks to a 4-1 win at the Reebok, with goals from Luka Modric, Rafael van der Vaart and a couple for Emmanuel Adebayor; Nigel Reo-Coker snaffling Bolton’s consolation.
