Tottenham beat New York Red Bulls 2-1 on their patch to win the ‘Barclays New York Cup’ (and a mightily impressive cup it is too!) last night, with Gylfi Sigurdsson scoring the winner in the 64th minute – cutting inside and cracking a shot over the Red Bulls ‘keeper Bill Gaudette from a tough old angle.

What this boy does, he does well…

Full highlights (including NY new-boy Tim Cahill making an immediate impact on his debut, winning a penalty after just eight minutes)…

Yeah, you go to Tottenham with your awesome skills and your fancy team-mates and your better wages and your infinitely-more-things-to-do-in city and your definitely get in the Champions League ambition and your top class manager.

But you won’t get to play with Lucas week-in-week-out, so fuck you.

Absolute peach of a goal. Shame his fellow new-boy Vertonghen had an absolute minger on that penalty, what in God’s name was he thinking?
