Though thousands of Japanese schoolgirls beat him to it, Tottenham winger Gareth Bale is attempting to copyright his silly ‘loveheart’ goal celebration after filing a trademark application with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO).
According to the application, Bale plans to use the “Heart 11” logo on metallic and leather products – namely shoes, hats, bags, umbrellas and jewellery.

Just think, soon you’ll be able to own your very own matching Gareth Bale brogues, satchel and key fob set.
