Tottenham Hotspur, one of the busier clubs in the transfer window, will face a trip to Georgia this month after drawing Dinamo Tbilisi in the play-off round of the Europa League. English football’s other representative, Swansea City, will face Romanian side Petrolul Ploieşti, who are managed by ex-Milan and West Brom wing-back Cosmin Contra.
There are a fair few decent sides in the play-off draw, with the likes of Feyenoord, Fiorentina, Dynamo Kiev, Stuttgart and Udinese all involved in some itneresting ties. Both English sides, on the other hand, will no doubt be expecting to make it through to the next round.
