If 4-0 looks like a drubbing, it’s deceptive – Bolton had lots of chances, played well but couldn’t finish for toffee. Spurs were simply more clinical in front of goal, particularly Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Maybe Pav isn’t such a donkey after all? The Russian bagged his second double in four days to help his side earn a quarter-final tie at Fulham. His attitude seems to be much more positive of late, but I still worry that one bad game and he’ll be back to his sulking worst. I still think Harry Redknapp doesn’t fancy him, or trust him to change his spots permanently – and Arry sees him on a day-to-day basis, so he should know – but for now the Russian is a more-than-useful weapon in Spurs’ armoury. Can he do it in the Prem though? Remains to be seen.

First I thought Spurs were really flattered by the scoreline. Their passing was inconsistent at best, and Modrich–who really sparked the win at Wigan–was almost invisible plus the defense were lucky Bolton do not have a real predator as a striker. If they play like that again they will lose both to Everton and Fulham.

Second Pav has only now been given a real chance. How on Earth can anyone call him a flop etc when he has not had a run of games before? He is an excellent finisher and I would bet he finishes a higher % of chances than Defoe. The sooner Harry realises Crouch is a good tactical option if things are not going well but not a starter the better.

Well, its easier for people to read what some fart in blogs or papers and then repeat it mindlessly instead of actaully using reason and logic.
You can only judge a player if he is on the field.

Or you can take word for word what that retarded Arry has to say.
Too bad he didnt go down with Pompey (his contract with them only ran out in 2011).

But then again, rats always leave sinking ships.
