World Cup Formbook: Is Tom Huddlestone In Your England 23 For South Africa?
By Ollie Irish
Based on his excellent form in 2010, Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone must be in with a 50/50 shout – at least – of going to South Africa with England. He is fitter and stronger than ever, whilst his passing and (ferocious) shooting bear comparison with any of England’s central midfielders. He has also added an edge to his game that was missing before, even if this more competitive streak almost saw him sent off against Man City for a stamp on Nigel de Jong. Plus I think he is more suited to the measured international game than the Premier League.

It’s a ‘yes’ from me.
he is better then barry
Yes, better shape and form than Carrick. Doesnt have the abilty to run all over the field, but is excellent at keeping possesion and also pace on the ball and the passing game. Decent rightfoot aswell. Deserves the opportunity to show what he got can do in the first 30 players squad at least.
Built like a fridge, can pass, and has a cracking shot on him. A solid choice.
lazy lazy lazy. he’ll be waddling around after the other central mid fielders without palacios protecting his ass. instead it’ll be gerrard or lampard who will making runs in front of him. having ‘stone in the center sounds likea great way to give up counter-attack goals in heaps.
