Shorts!
It’s a behind-the-scenes, ‘you can’t bring a camera in here mate’ look at Tottenham’s new home kit (either that or a training top). It’s white and blue and looks like a seriously nice Spurs shirt, unlike the current one. Wee Aaron Lennon seems to be enjoying its polyester vibe anyway. I LIKE. [Goaly Moly]

“Ooooh Betty!”
Didier Drogba has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the world, in no – and by no less an organ than Time magazine! No, really, he has. It’s mostly for his humanitarian work in Africa. It’s a forking disgrace. [Dirty Tackle]

There’s gin in there, you know
Aston Villa gaffer Martin O’Neill is not happy about the decision to allow Marton Fulop to join Man City in an emergency loan deal.
Asked if he understood how City had pulled off the deal, MoN said: “No. I can’t do anything about it. The decision has been made and the words grapes and sour could come into it. It would be hard to imagine Fulop as being described as a third-choice goalkeeper. They [already] have a goalkeeper who is an international [Faroe Islands No.1 Gunnar Nielsen].”
I totally agree with O’Neill here. If City aren’t happy with their current reserve keepers, what are they doing at Eastlands in the first place? Nielsen must play against Villa this weekend – it’s his job, after all.
