May the fourth be with you (yeah, I know that was yesterday – I mean fourth place, natch).

1. Spurs 3-4 Man City, 2004
An astonishing FA Cup comeback by City, who were 3-0 down at halftime, then went down to ten men after Joey Barton’s red card, but still managed to score four unanswered goals in the second half. A triumph for then-City gaffer Kevin ‘Keggy’ Keegan.

2. Man City 4-1 Spurs, 1967
Lovely to watch the great Mike Sumerbee and co. in action. Now that was a quality City side.

3. Spurs 0-3 Man City, 1979
A fine individual performance by City’s Peter Barnes saw the visitors thump Spurs at the Lane. Ah, I love watching footage from this era – even when Spurs lose.

4. Spurs 0-3 Man City, 1969
Is that a young Brian Moore on the mic? I think it is. Great to see Jimmy Greaves in action too – what an awesome finisher he was. Shame about the result, mind.

Okay, that’s enough misery at the Lane. After four City wins, time to end this list with a famous Spurs victory…

5. Spurs 3-2 Man City, 1981
A memorable replay, featuring that goal by Ricky Villa. Happy days.
