Harry Kane has pledged himself unto Tottenham for the foreseeable future by signing a hefty new six-year contract at the club.

According to the Telegraph, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has done the unthinkable and “smashed” Spurs strict pay structure to almost double Kane’s salary, with the striker’s new deal said to be worth over £62million.

Indeed, it’s reported that his weekly wage will be somewhere near the £200,000 mark once all relevant bonuses are chucked in.

Journalist Matt Law also mentions that, with Kane signed up for the long haul, Spurs are now lining up similar mammoth offers for Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.

With a swanky new stadium inbound, all their star players pulling in the same direction and that infamous pay ceiling now breached, it looks like a brave new boom may be on the cards at White Hart Lane.

All they need now is for their manager to resist the come-hither eye-lash fluttering being aimed in his direction over at Real Madrid.
