That’s entertainment…

In which Spurs became the first ever club to score two or more goals in each of their Champions League group matches. This was a triffic match (albeit with a clown for a ref) – so much more entertaining than events at Old Trafford (from the ‘highlights’ I saw of United vs Valencia anyway).

Bring on Barcelona… actually, don’t bring on Barcelona. I didn’t mean that, it’s just something I heard a Spurs fan say down the pub. Bring on FC Copenhagen instead.

  1. MaxMad says:

Mate, FC Copenhagen would thrash you.

  2. Ben says:

Spurs could win big or lose big against most teams left in the CL. It’d be great to see them go all out attack at the Camp Nou, play for a 7-4 defeat and try to win on away goals at WHL…

  3. dave says:

@MaxMad: About 2 months ago I would have bet Inter would thrash Spurs. Any team that can beat Inter can beat Copenhagen on any given day.

  4. stuart says:

“you’ll never make a top four spot”
“you won’t get through the qualifier”
“even if you do, you’ll not make it out of the group”
“Champions of Europe, Champions of Germany, Champions of Holland you’ve got no chance”

i bet all Spurs fans have heard those comments at one time or another. but guess what? we did all that and we’re still going strong!

and to make it even sweeter… Arsenal are struggling to get out of the easiest group of them all!

    COYS!

  5. Stuart nemisis says:

Spurs are dreaming. Most Goals against for any team qualifying from group. Lowest points total of winner from a group. Will get smashed in the next round unless it’s FC Copenhagen in which case you might have a chance.

  6. Jesus says:

@Stuart: Werder aren’t the champions of Germany.

  7. weeee says:

    copenhagen would destroy the spuds
