Just a few photos of Darron Gibson holding his new club colours aloft in front of the tiles at Finch Farm (he’s been allocated Joseph Yobo’s old No. 4 shirt) after completing his £1 million – yes, Everton have spent real, non-Monopoly money on someone! - move from Manchester United earlier today…

   Darren Gibson. £1 Million. A few months ago I would have laughed at the blue neighbours but after Obertan and his good(ish) season so far I’ll reserve judgement till the end of the season. God knows they need a proper central midfielder and one with a show like his doesnt hurt.

   Gibson always seems to get the stick from everyone but, although he has been inconsistent, he still has talent and will definitely add to Everton’s line-up.
