Amsterdam_postcardFive Ipswich Town players have been disciplined for taking a two-day break in Amsterdam last week ahead of their FA Cup tie against Chester City. First team regulars Alan Lee and Gary Roberts, along with young fringe players Darryl Knights, Scott Barron and Chris Casement, are in hot water over the unauthorised jaunt.

Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has taken internal action against the group and will reportedly aim to move at least two of the three youngsters out of Portman Road during the January transfer window. He said: ""This is an internal disciplinary matter and the appropriate steps have now been taken to ensure this does not happen again." [Rob Parker]
