Barcelona president Joan Laporta, Europe’s undisputed King of the Shit Stirrers, says Barcelona will decide in March how much money to offer Arsenal for Cesc Fabregas.

Laporta has reiterated his desire to sign the Arsenal skipper next summer amid rumours that Barca will offer £40m for the 22-year-old midfielder.

“Cesc Fabregas is desired by us for many reasons,” Laporta is quoted in The Sun as saying. “Barcelona have decided to fight for the kid for next season.

“The money? This will be decided at the end of March to prepare for a deal.

“Cesc is such a big player. Our intention is to convince the Londoners about the sale.

“It won’t be easy, but we have good relations with the Gunners.”

Good relations with the Gunners!? That’s a good one. I’m sure Wenger wishes Laporta would shut the hell up about Cesc for five minutes.

More importantly, Fabregas has repeatedly said that he’s happy at Arsenal, but with the Catalan weasels continuing to flash their panties at him, how long before he is tempted back to his homeland?

A very public tapping-up, this.
