Snapshot: When Alessandro Met Emile…

By Chris Wright

The A-League’s three new amigos (Alessandro Del Piero, Emile Heskey and former Japan international Shinji Ono), arm in arm.

As far as Del Piero and Heskey are concerned, at no point in the intersecting courses of time and destiny were these two men supposed to meet – yet here we are…

Definitely one for the @djimi_met_paolo boys.

To be fair at his age and with both of the styles they play at the moment heskey is probably a better striker. simply because he isn’t going to get any smaller or pain in the bum in the box as he ages, he never was a run in the box player.

  2. Hootie says:

Idk, Del Piero may have to be 45 before that happens.

  3. Stefano says:

ADP was winning games for Juve as recently as last year! There is no way Heskey is even “probably” a better striker.

  4. leo says:

ADP has better ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, freekicks, crossing, and most importantly, finishing than Heskey…syndex are you serious?
