QPR’s assistant manager, Richard Hill, has been suspended "until further notice" following the brawl during a training match against China’s Olympic team.
China player Zheng Tao suffered a broken jaw during the incident at QPR’s training ground on 7 February.
The FA is also investigating and is "in ongoing communication with the police".
Some QPR players are also facing the chop after getting involved in the fracas. Seven members of the Chinese team have been sent home and the Chinese Football Association has launched its own inquiry.
"We will investigate the incident and strictly punish those responsible," said CFA spokesman Dong Hua.
"Under no circumstances do we have any tolerance for such behaviour."
