Gianluigi Buffon Has ‘Had Enough’ Of Juventus
By Chris Wright

He doesn’t look mad does he?
Some decidedly spurious rumour-mongering here, so prepare yourself.
After Juventus suffered their third straight loss (2-1 at home to Roma) on Saturday, a journalist or two allegedly overheard Juve ‘keeper Gianluigi Buffon muttering that he ‘couldn’t take it anymore’ as he trudged off down the tunnel at The Stadio Olimpico.
Perfectly plausible so far I think you’ll agree. A top goalkeeper annoyed at losing to a late goal? Fair enough. But the reports don’t stop there…
This ‘news’ has supposedly alerted a clutch of potential suitors, as Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich (amongst others) are all ready and willing to offer the 32 year old Italian stopper an escape route out of ‘The Old Lady’. Buffon is said to be desperate to leave Turin as he has grown tired of the Bianconeri’s struggle to maintain their push for the Champions League places after one too many sub-standard performances this season.
Much as I suspect this story to be complete and utter balderdash, I would love to see ‘Gigi’ tested in the Prem. He’s still undoubtedly one of the best keepers in the world and – if he really is desperate to leave Juve - I can imagine there are a handful of teams around Europe that wouldn’t mind taking him off the Italian club’s hands.

AS a goalkeeper myself i would love nothing more than to see Buffon in the premiership. However i cant see it happening.
Not so long ago he stated in an interview when he was linked to City that he was not interested in moving abroad. This was due to his family commitments and said they are his priority not his football. Unless his misses fancies a 5 star flat over looking Salford can you really see this guy leaving Italy? i think not!
