Wesley Sneijder Gets Standard Turkish Welcome From Galatasaray Fans, Makes Mistake Of Popping Head Through Sunroof! (Video)

It would appear that Wesley Sneijder has finally left Inter Milan and gone and signed on the dotted line with Galatasaray, with hundreds of fans swarming at the airport to welcome the Dutch midfielder in traditional Turkish fashion (remember the crazy fanfare when Kenny Miller/Darius Vassell rolled into town?)

Wes even popped up through the sunroof with a Gala shirt on to give the fans a wave from behind a police blockade, though it wasn’t enough to hold the intrepid fans back – with several clambering atop Sneijder’s car to give him a quick mobbing, as visible in the second clip…

   At least he knows he is welcome…
   As a Dutch guy I would have prefered our captain playing for the European top like United or Bayern, but let’s hope he does well at Gala.
   We need our captain back playing again, giving his trademark passes to whoever is up front at Galatasaray :)
