A dutch daily footy-pundit talkshow have decided to cut program 20 minutes short. Solely because they would not be able to use the time to laugh at Manolev…..

Manolev is a very decent right-back-wing-who-scores-from distance. He is Bulgaria’s top goalscorer in the qualies 2014.

He had problems in PSV because he did not want to re-sign last summer. He was linked with Milan and Rome.

oh boy.

Manolev is ridiculed time and time again for his clumsy crosses that tend to be a threat to the fans in the second ring rather than the opposing team. he is also notorious for his attacking style, often neglecting his defensive duties. he does have great stamina, going down that right wing like a marathon runner. he is not very efficient though.

It seems that there is a fishy connection between Martin Jol and his agent Mino Raiola. Emanuelson, Grygera, Manolev, Taino, Atouba, Mido, Kerlon, Ze Eduardo (latter are from his time at Ajax).

Manolev is only good on his day, and he was instrumental to Bulgaria’s 2-2 draw with Italy, scoring a 25+ meter screamer against Buffon, so I guess in that respect he’ll fit right into the firing squad of Karagounis, Duff, Ruiz and Kacaniklic.

You know there’s something wrong when Balotelli has the least gay haircut in your choice of strikers. Are they auditioning for a role in Mad Max 4?

Samba, Park, Cesar, Granero, Remy, SWP, Boswinga, Cisse, Barton, Green and Zamora. That’s a pretty scarily long list of average, past their peak players on big wages and probably a few years left on their contracts if they go down this season to try and get rid of.
