Raul Close To Joining New York Red Bulls
By Chris Wright

Raul has been at Real since about 1977
MARCA are reporting this morning that Real Madrid’s record goalscorer Raul Gonzalez is close to agreeing a move to MLS with New York Red Bulls.
Raul has said he is keen to play in America and the New York outfit have offered the 32 year old striker a bumper financial deal to tempt him to run down the clock on his playing career at The Red Bull Arena, but the real driving force behind the deal must be the mouth watering prospect of partnering Juan Pablo Angel up front.

Whatever. Another tease for American fans. I’ll believe it when I see it.
It’s probably a rumor, but if he comes he won’t have a legacy of being a one-club player.
i like how it says he’s been at real since about 1977. riiiight. i’m pretty sure he was born in 1977. do some research.
look what it says under the picture raul has been at real since about…. lol this site doesn’t have good resources
it would truly be sad to see him in any jersey other than los blancos… especially a red bull jersey.
