Rumour No. 1: Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers have all been tracking Benfica target man Oscar Cardozo. Everton manager David Moyes has personally scouted the 6’4″ striker and will attempt to secure his signature at the end of the season.

Rumour No. 2: Sunderland are the latest Premier League club to be linked with a summer move for West Brom’s highly-prized midifelder Graham Dorrans. Manchester City were linked with a £6 million move for the Scotsman last week.

The Best of the Rest: Everton are also interested in signing FC Nürnberg’s Argentinian full back Javier Pinola but The Toffees face stiff competition from Stoke for the 26 year old’s signature.

Aston Villa are keeping tabs on Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dmitri Sychev who has been dubbed ‘The Russian Michael Owen’, presumably because he can only play one game in ten and really really likes horses.

Blackburn and Stoke are duking it out to sign FC Copenhagen’s Canadian midfielder Atiba Hutchinson

Inter Milan are planning a €30 million summer move for Napoli’s up-and-coming playmaker Marek Hamsik.

Veteran striker Paul Dickov has joined FC Toronto on trial.
