Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger: ‘We Are Still Looking At Felipe Melo’
By Ollie Irish

Arsenal gaffer Arsene Wenger has reiterated his admiration for Brazil midfielder Felipe Melo. Wenger also admitted that he hasn’t ruled out signing Melo from Juventus, presumably this summer.
The Gunners were linked with a bid for Melo last summer when he was starring for Fiorentina but the player chose Juventus over north London, a move which hasn’t worked out well so far.
“We were interested in Melo last year,” Wenger admitted in the Daily Telegraph.
“He has not had the season that everyone predicted he would. But we still think he is a very talented player. We are still looking at him.”
Melo’s price has undoubtedly dropped since he was valued at almost £20m last year, and if Arsenal could tempt Juventus with a sub-£10m bid, I think it would represent good business for all parties.
