Everton Tracking £14m Sporting Lisbon Duo

Watch out chaps

After being unceremoniously dumped out of the Europa League by them last month, Everton boss David Moyes obviously saw something he liked within the Sporting Lisbon ranks.

Reports in a few of today’s papers are suggesting that The Toffees are now planning a £14 million summer raid on the Portuguese club for two of their most prominent talents, in midfield grafter Joao Moutinho and young stringer (striker/winger – you heard it hear first) Yannick Djalo.

Moutinho has been a long-term target for Everton, but Djalo (who, for better or worse, is reminiscent of Nani) is a new name on the Merseyside club’s radar.

Moutinho is a great talent IMO. Similarish to Modric. Would be a great purchase for Everton if he can cope with the physical side. Certainly seems to have the mentality by becoming captain at such a young age.
