Official: West Ham Midfielder Ravel Morrison Joins QPR On 93-Day Emergency Loan

By Chris Wright

Ravel Morrison has joined Arry’s groaning phalanx of Premier League cast-offs at QPR on a 93-day emergency loan from West Ham, delaying a hernia operation to do so if the papers are to be believed.

Seriously, if QPR don’t go up this season then we’d love to hear Redknapp’s excuse having fluffed roughly ten-times more than any other club in the division on players and wages, etc.

Anyway, remember when the entire nation’s media swooned when Morrison put in approximately three or four consecutive decent shifts (starting with a MotM performance against Tottenham if memory serves) for the Hammers a little earlier in the season? How he should definitely be given an England call-up/make the World Cup squad? All seems a bit silly and short-termist now, no?

Mark our words: he’ll be playing in the Middle/Far East somewhere by the time he’s 30.

93 day emergency loan!!!! You’re having a laugh. Is this because their squad is so desperately small and devoid of quality? Smacks of desperation chaps.

  2. Ray_The_Hammer says:

Why is it an emergency loan?
I fear you’re right about Morrison wasting his obvious talent but we can but hope that he comes back to West Ham next season and starts to realise more of that enormous potential.

I thought the same, Chris, until I read about Big Sam putting pressure on players to sign up with an agent on the Guardian:

@streetfighta – good stuff , very eye opening

@chris – take a read of the article, proper journalism involving reserach and point formulation not conclusion jumping based on previous, hate to be up against a jury with you on it, the far east indeed

Hope Harry’s paying all his wages. How did he get through a medical with this groin injury and needing an op.
