Ravel Morrison has joined Arry’s groaning phalanx of Premier League cast-offs at QPR on a 93-day emergency loan from West Ham, delaying a hernia operation to do so if the papers are to be believed.

Seriously, if QPR don’t go up this season then we’d love to hear Redknapp’s excuse having fluffed roughly ten-times more than any other club in the division on players and wages, etc.

Anyway, remember when the entire nation’s media swooned when Morrison put in approximately three or four consecutive decent shifts (starting with a MotM performance against Tottenham if memory serves) for the Hammers a little earlier in the season? How he should definitely be given an England call-up/make the World Cup squad? All seems a bit silly and short-termist now, no?

Mark our words: he’ll be playing in the Middle/Far East somewhere by the time he’s 30.
